Purpose

Events Coordinators are responsible for planning, organising, and executing all MUR Motorsports events, both internal and external. This includes managing logistics for team-related activities such as track days, sponsor visits, promotional events, and social gatherings. The team plays a vital role in creating opportunities for networking, team building, and public engagement while ensuring smooth coordination and operation of each event.

Roles and Responsibilities

Event Planning and Scheduling

The Events Team is responsible for planning and scheduling all events throughout the year. This includes setting timelines, booking venues, coordinating with external vendors, and ensuring that each event aligns with the team’s overall calendar. The team works to ensure that all events—whether internal, external, or competition-related—are well-organized and run according to schedule.

Logistics and Operations

Managing the logistics of each event is a core responsibility of the team. This involves coordinating transportation, equipment setup, food and beverages, and ensuring that all materials needed for the event are available. For larger events like track days and competitions, the team oversees the transportation of the car, tools, and team members to ensure that everything is in place for smooth operations.

Sponsor and Partner Events

The Events Team plays a key role in organizing sponsor-related events, including sponsor visits, trade shows, and other partnership engagements. These events are critical for maintaining and building relationships with sponsors, allowing them to interact with the team and see firsthand how their contributions are being utilized. The team ensures that sponsor branding is incorporated into these events and that sponsors receive appropriate recognition and attention.

Team Events and Social Gatherings

Beyond external events, the Events Team is responsible for planning internal events such as social gatherings, team-building activities, and workshops. These events are designed to foster a positive team culture, strengthen relationships between team members, and ensure that everyone feels engaged and motivated. Track Days and Competition

The Events Team is responsible for managing the budget allocated for each event, ensuring that resources are used efficiently and within financial constraints.
