Marketing Strategist

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy Development:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance the team’s visibility and brand presence.
  • Identify target audiences and tailor marketing campaigns to effectively reach and engage them.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies.
Content Creation and Management:
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality marketing content, including social media posts, blogs, newsletters, and promotional materials.
  • Manage the team’s content calendar, ensuring timely and consistent delivery of marketing messages.
  • Collaborate with the design team to produce visually appealing and engaging content.
Social Media Management:
  • Develop and execute social media strategies across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to gauge the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Engage with followers and respond to comments and messages to build a strong online community.
Event Promotion:
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns for team events, including fundraising events, sponsor meetings, and competition participation.
  • Create promotional materials and distribute them through appropriate channels.
  • Work with the Events Coordinator to ensure seamless promotion and execution of events.
Sponsorship and Partnership Support:
  • Assist the Business and Sponsorship Officer in developing sponsorship proposals and marketing materials.
  • Highlight sponsor contributions through marketing campaigns and ensure sponsor logos and mentions are included in promotional content.
  • Foster relationships with sponsors and partners through effective communication and engagement.
Analytics and Reporting:
  • Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, providing regular reports to team leadership.
  • Use data insights to refine marketing strategies and improve future campaign performance.
  • Ensure all marketing activities align with team goals and contribute to overall success.
Brand Management:
  • Maintain and enhance the team’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels.
  • Develop brand guidelines and ensure team members adhere to them.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to strengthen the team’s brand presence in the motorsports community.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in marketing strategy development and execution, preferably within the motorsports or sports industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media management, and content creation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and software (e.g., social media management platforms, analytics tools, design software).
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Passion for motorsports and a keen understanding of the FSAE competition framework.
